Make a plan for after the holidays

During the holidays it is important to stick as closely to your regular routine as possible. Continue to plan plan food and take some time each day to care for yourself. It's so easy this time of year to ignore our own needs.

Do you have a plan for how you will eat as soon as the holidays are over? Decide which day is the end of holiday eating for you. How will you make a clear distinction that you are going back to regular eating? How will you handle the leftover holiday goodies?

Decide which day will be your final weigh in for 2022. Before you get on the scale decide: do you feel the way you wanted to feel on the last day of 2022? Yes or no and why?

Next, tell your future self why it's important to keep going. Why do you deserve it? Who benefits from you not giving up? How will you keep in mind who you want to be?

How have you made progress this year despite the number on the scale? How have you showed up the way you said you wanted to? Keep your future self in mind every day. You deserve to become the woman you truly want to be!

These questions can be answered for any holiday, vacation, or special occasion. Decide ahead of time, how you want to show up and how you will get right back on track when you get back to your regular routine.
