Welcome to my blog

Updated: Nov 28, 2022

I am SO glad you are here! I am just like the rest of you. I've been on too many diets to count. I always looked for someone else to tell me when, how much, and what to eat. They also told me how much exercise I should do. Most of the time it was hard to keep up with all of the "rules", but I would do it for a while, and guess what? I lost weight.

The problem was, it wasn't sustainable. It wasn't something I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I didn't want to count calories, or points, or eat 5 small meals every day. I wanted desperately to find a way to eat things I liked, lose weight, and keep it off for good. I was so tired of being on the weight loss hamster wheel.

Can you relate?

Fast forward to 2017. I retired--gained another 10 pounds--went back to WW and failed again. I knew there had to be something out there that I could do forever without spending every hour of the day thinking about food. That's when I found a weight loss coach. What she said made sense. Eat only when you are hungry and stop when you are satisfied. Move if you want to, but it isn't required, and if you choose to add movement, make sure it's something you enjoy. You are no longer required to exercise to earn extra food. The last two things were to get at least seven hours of sleep each night and drink 64 oz. of water. NO rules about what foods to eat. I still eat all the foods I enjoy.

The bonus of having a coach was changing how I thought about myself and situations in my life. Changing my thoughts changed everything else, so much so that I decided to become a certified life coach to help other women. I want every woman in mid-life to realize that it's not too late to lose weight or accomplish any other dream she wants. If I can go back to school and start a new business at 63, so can you! I have lost and kept off 25 lbs. for 4.5 years. I am working on losing another 20 lbs. so I AM on this journey with you.

Please reach out any time with questions so I can help you lose your weight for good!

Talk soon, Kim
